Meet Dr. Ashley Gomes, DVM

We’re thrilled to welcome Dr. Ashley Gomes to the Animal Hospital at Baldwin Park! Dr. Gomes brings a well-rounded and compassionate approach to veterinary medicine, with a deep passion for both traditional and holistic care.

Dr. Gomes began her academic journey at Pierce College before earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. Her diverse experiences and love for travel have given her a broad perspective on animal health and wellness.

Dr. Gomes is especially passionate about integrative medicine. She is currently pursuing her certification in veterinary acupuncture (CVA), expanding our ability to offer holistic and Chinese medicine to our patients. Her commitment to overall health and wellness extends to both her professional practice and personal life—she enjoys staying active, being outdoors, and participating in water sports.

In addition to dogs and cats, Dr. Gomes has a special interest in exotic animal medicine. With her expertise in pocket pets and reptiles, we’re excited to resume care for exotic patients once again!

Dr. Gomes is dedicated to providing thoughtful, individualized care for every animal she sees. We’re excited to have her as part of our team and can’t wait for you to meet her!
