In Loving Memory of Our Founder, Dr. Albert Núñez

A life-long learner and renaissance man, Dr. Albert Núñez was a champion of innovative animal care, and his passion, expertise, and vast knowledge served as an invaluable gift to the pet population of the Orlando area.

Dr. Núñez began his studies at the Universidad Central Del Este in the Dominican Republic, going on to earn his DVM from the Ross School of Veterinary Medicine in 1991. Ever curious and driven, he also became certified in Veterinary Acupuncture from the Chi Institute of Chinese Medicine in Beijing, and he co-founded Innovarius, a biomedical research company aimed at the non-invasive, state-of-the-art treatment of spinal cord injuries and vertebral disk disease.

Dr. Núñez proudly inherited his work ethic and compassion, not to mention his respect for alternative medical therapies, from his Cuban parents and elders. He devoted his life to healing through kindness and curiosity. He leaves behind his beloved family and countless friends to continue his inspiring legacy.
